The SAB WABCO C-AK for goods wagons

C-AKv-Coupler at the goods wagon underframe extension - without draft gear. The centre of the couplers are 60 mm in front of the side buffer plates. By this coupling in curves is possible.

AKv - coupler assembled to a France SNCF - goods wagon. The air coupler is on top and the electrical coupler is below. Other combinations are possible if required.

C-AKv - Air Coupler

The contact-surfaces of the line connector are e little protruding if uncoupled and will pressed in against spring-force during the coupling operation. By the frame-work (visible) the line connector is manual swivelling out of operation position for coupling with the Russian SA3 coupler.

Mixed Mechanical Coupler(GZK)

The picture shows a design for mixed coupling with the present screw coupler. A special mechanism realize the automatic shortening of the connection.
