The coupling system realized the automatic connection between vehicles after coupling-contact. At the other hand a manual disconnection should be possible - even with tension of 4 tons between the vehicles.
The locking system includes four active parts:
Locker: Makes the mechanical connection between vehicles,Check-bolt: It hinders turning of locker if coupledLatch It hinders turning of locker if coupled by resting against the check-boltLocklift rotary shaft: For uncouple operation from outside manually (or automatically)
Ready to couple:
Locker and Check-bold: Out of body by gravity force.
Latch: pivoted at locker - movable backwards.
Pointer: If invisible from outside - locker out of profile.
Direction of arrows shows displacement during coupling operation.
Coupled:
Locker: Out of body by gravity force.
Check bolt: Pressed into the body by the opposite coupler - the contact at the locking faces hinder uncoupling by dynamic forces.
Pointer: Invisible from outside - locker out of profile - sign for successful connection.
Uncoupled:
Locklift rotary shaft: Was turned counter clockwise from outside.
By turning from outside the latch was lifted and following the locker is turned out of the profile.
Now the opposite coupler is able to slide out.
